Fragrance Files is an independent perfumery and fragrance resource. We offer an extensive collection of perfumes and colognes at a discount. Our unique products are made from a combination of natural and synthetic oils, as well as aroma chemicals. A perfume oil is typically diluted with a solvent, such as alcohol or a mixture of ethanol and water. Perfumes are formulated with a simple concept, and then perfumers choose an ingredient to represent the scent idea. The base of the perfume is then blended with a middle note and top note to create a finished product. Go here msn.com
Road Rage Realities: Navigating the Top Capitals of Vehicular Tension
The scent of a perfume is determined by its ingredients and how the different components interact with your skin’s chemistry. Scent molecules, or aromatic compounds, can be found in flowers, fruits, leaves, spices and woods. Some perfumes are purely natural, while others are composed of synthetic ingredients that closely resemble the smell of real substances such as fruit juice or freshly cut grass. Many perfumes are layered with a blend of several ingredients that help to smooth out the transition between the various notes. This is called a “note pyramid.”
The word “fragrance” or “parfum” on a product’s ingredient list refers to an undisclosed mixture of dozens of scent chemicals and compounds. Fragrance blends may contain a wide variety of chemicals, and some have been linked to contact dermatitis, respiratory distress and reproductive health problems. The International Fragrance Association (IFRA) does not publish a complete list of the chemicals used in fragrances, but does have a database with some safety information.
